A classic of its kind, the rather tacky but likeable and very social Reeperbahn-area bar Toom Peerstall has been getting gays and lesbians drunk and happy since the early 1990s. Attracts an older crowd — especially those who grew up with Schlager tunes and ubiquitous smoking — and makes an effort with lively theme nights and very dance-orientated DJ-driven Saturday nights. Not without a certain cult appeal.
