Sexplosion (at Basement XXV) NO LONGER HAPPENING (Closed Permanently) Formerly: Toms of Hamburg / Erection (at Domination)

Located literally and metaphorically in the shadow of Toms Saloon, this intimate, well-equipped basement area specialises in naked play despite the leather-sex-friendly equipment and amenities (four slings, St. Andrew's Cross, cages etc). When closed to the public the space is used by the owner, who was adopted by one of the original owners of Toms in the early 1970s. Opened in 2009 as Sexplosion, then in 2011 controversially changed name to Tom's of Hamburg, then to Domination from March 2012. The space closed in April 2014 but re-opened a month later, under new ownership, available only for private hire. In 2015 the name changed, again, to Basement XXV. And from June 2015 local bar Contact [see entry] started staging Sexplosion naked sex orgies here every third Saturday in the month. In 2016 the Kleiner Pulverteich 25 location stopped as a sex space, and Toms moved its Basement XXV concept to Pullverteich 25.
