Tiny red-lit watering hole where old and young alike meet up for a frisky drink. Opened in 2009, the basement bar is tucked away on a corner just across from all-male neighbour Extratour [see entry] and diagonally opposite recommended Italian restaurant Il Buco [see entry], seconds from the suitably seedy Hansaplatz and a mere five minutes from the Lange Reihe. The sign out front reads 'PICK-UP'. "Bei uns verkehren Arbeiter und Beamte, Künstler und Lebenskünstler, Arbeitslose und Millionäre." (Here we have workers and civil servants, artists and bon vivants, the unemployed and millionaires.) Closes when the last guest calls it a night.

Dangerous place
Unfriendly service, uncomfortable athmosphere. But absolutely worst thing, that happened: A bulgarian hooker has stolen my wallet. Never again...
