Motel One Hamburg am Michel

This must surely constitute the only Motel One with an attachment to the Beatles, who in the early 1960s, pre-fame, hit big just off the Reeperbahn with their residency at the now-defunct Star-Club in Große Freiheit. This 437-room hotel, on the border of St Pauli and Neustadt, is located not too far east of the Reeperbahn, and its name 'Michel' makes reference to the Beatle's 1965 album track "Michelle". Opened 2010 (the most youngest of Hamburg's four Motel One outlets). The lounge was remodelled 2015. Just a few minutes' walk from the Reeperbahn.
