Dare! (at Nachtasyl, Thalia Theater)
Popular club night devoted to the more gay-appeal aspects of 1980s music, from italo disco and Hi-NRG to synthpop, with iconic stars Madonna, Erasure, Grace Jones, Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat/Communards) and the Pet Shop Boys among the staples. The semi-regular event happens at top-floor club space Nachtasyl ('Night Asylum'), located in the former rehearsal room of Hamburg's famous Thalia Theater [see entry]. Started 2007.
